To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

HanginHeart Pre-Searing Cadet Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Hollywood Guild: Sole Survivors Profession: Mo/Me	Change Guild Tag I saw another post on here about making it so that guild tags could not be repeated. While I feel that's a little exteme I think you should be able to change your guild tag if you enter a situation like I got myself into. When I created my guild I wasn't worried about a guild tag because I didn't think it was all that important (was still a noob at the time). Now that the guild is growing and I know more about the game I regret making my guild tag what it is. It would be nice to have some sort of way for people who put themselves in my situation to change the name of their guild tag so that they can get the full effect of a guild... individuality.
